Camping municipal de Jonville
Welcome to the Jonville Campsite *** (in French)
The Jonville municipal campsite is located at the tip of the Val de Saire, in the commune of Réville, opposite the Île Tatihou and the 2 Vauban towers, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In a natural, unspoilt setting, the campsite has direct access to 7 km of fine sandy beaches, some of which face due south. You'll receive a warm welcome from the campsite team and Réville shopkeepers. You can enjoy a wide range of sports and leisure activities, take advantage of our 2-screen cinema and visit the rich heritage of our region, a small "end of the world".
Open from late March to late September.
CAMPING LIFE
The campsite offers free outdoor parking, a bar, heated sanitary facilities (at no extra charge) equipped for infants and people with reduced mobility, free wifi, free TV and library, table soccer, a boules pitch and a children's playground. A multi-sports field (loan of balls), ping-pong table (loan of rackets).
Fixed barbecues are scattered around the campsite (free use).
Washing machines and dryers are located in the sanitary facilities.
ON-SITE SPORTS AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES
The campsite is bordered by long sandy beaches where you can enjoy unforgettable sunbathing after a good swim in the sea, or after a good shellfish-fishing trip on foot (or by boat). Sports enthusiasts can enjoy sand yachting, windsurfing, kitesurfing and sea kayaking, supervised by sailing schools. For boaters, there's a free slipway. Horse-riders will find a riding school about 1km away.

Near Pont de Saire, route des Monts : 3* hotel.
On the campsite: temporary market facilities for local producers of fruit, vegetables, meat, local produce, foodtrucks.
WALKING DESTINATIONS
Numerous signposted hiking trails will take the most adventurous as far as the mythical Mont Saint-Michel.
- Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue: a must-see site, with its sailors' chapel, as well as the Hougue peninsula and the beautiful Tatihou island, where Vauban built two towers listed as Unesco World Heritage Sites.
- gatteville lighthouse: 75 m high, making it the 2nd highest lighthouse in Europe. You'll be able to contemplate the expanse of the Val de Saire and add to your photo album the most beautiful shots of your vacation.
- Barfleur: with its port (one of the most important in Normandy in the Middle Ages) and its famous fish landing. The pretty medieval courtyard of Sainte-Catherine, and the Augustins garden.
- Montaigu-la-Brisette: a 15-hectare wildlife park where you'll discover a multitude of animals.
- Utah Beach: relive June 6, 1944 at the D-Day museum and beaches.
- Valognes: nicknamed the "Versailles of Normandy", this Roman city is home to numerous 17th-century mansions, some of which were the setting for Barbey d'Aurevilly's novels and short stories. There's also a cider museum.
- Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte: don't miss Barbey d'Aurevilly's birthplace and the cemetery at the foot of the medieval castle.
- Cherbourg: casino, theater, discotheque. Museums, the Cité de la Mer with its aquariums and the famous Le Redoutable nuclear submarine, whose bowels can be visited.
