Who are we?
La Vélomaritime, what is it?
At the end of 2018, the French territories crossed by EuroVelo 4 have created a route committee around an ambitious action plan for the next 5 years (2019-2023) in order to promote EV4 on the French and foreign markets. . This project follows the Franco-British partnership of the Tour de Manche, complicated to maintain even if the bike lanes are still passable.
The itinerary committee has chosen to name this bike route La Vélomaritime. This new version of the site adapted to the new name is enriched with new steps.
La Vélomaritime, it is 1475 km, today arranged to 83%, which connect Roscoff, in Brittany with Dunkerque, with the Belgian border. The continuity of the route will be ensured in 2021 and the signaling gradually implemented.
The logo of the route will be unveiled in a few weeks ...
